Separate airflow from temperature
Tell the advisor whether air volume is weak or the fan blows strongly but the air stays warm. Note whether one vent feels different and whether the concern changes at idle or during ordinary road use. Do not perform a special drive to reproduce an unsafe condition.
Bring the history
Share recent A/C work, any refrigerant product previously added and when cooling changed. The exact vehicle and refrigerant specification matter. Avoid guessing the needed charge or using a refill as proof of the cause; the system needs an appropriate inspection and test plan.
What helps an advisor narrow the initial A/C concern?
Ask for the evidence and scope
Ask what was measured and whether a leak or control problem was confirmed. Request a written repair scope, any additional tests and an explanation of how cooling performance will be checked afterward. An engine temperature warning requires its own prompt response, even when noticed alongside an A/C concern.
