Smart AutoCare plan authorization
For a Smart AutoCare plan, the fastest start is a clear symptom description and the information on your contract card or documents.
Keep your plan information and diagnosis connected.
- Provide the plan or contract number and the administrator’s preferred contact details if shown.
- Tell M&A what you notice, when it happens and any warning lights or recent work.
- The shop confirms what diagnostic work is authorized, then records the findings and proposed repair.
- Review provider-approved items separately from any customer-paid work before authorizing repairs.
M&A does not assume a repair is covered based only on the plan brand. The administrator makes the coverage decision and M&A confirms the scope and customer amount.
Keep the repair authorization clear
M&A will explain the proposed work and customer responsibility before repairs begin. A provider review or estimate submission is not your authorization for the shop to perform repairs.
