Start with your vehicle and your concern
Before reviewing a long inspection, check the vehicle details and the reason for your visit. Does the report address the squeak, warning or leak you described? A general vehicle review can identify other needs, but it should not replace an explanation of the original concern.
A digital inspection is a way to present findings. A polished screen or a close-up photograph does not prove that a particular part needs replacement. The explanation matters just as much as the image.
Read the words as well as the color
Green commonly means no concern was recorded during that inspection. Yellow commonly marks an item to discuss or monitor. Red commonly identifies something needing prompt attention. Ask your advisor what those labels mean in this report; they are not a universal measurement standard.
For a brake finding, ask which wheel or axle is involved, what was measured, and what reference was used. For a leak, ask where it originates and whether the source is confirmed. A photograph should have a useful caption, not just a circle around an unfamiliar component.
What makes an inspection finding useful?
Separate the finding from the proposed repair
Try four questions: What did you observe? How did you confirm it? What could happen if I wait? What work does this estimate include? A good answer distinguishes an observed condition from a suspected cause and a recommended next test.
Ask which items affect safe operation, which are maintenance, and which can be planned for a later visit. If the vehicle may be unsafe, get a clear driving or towing recommendation before deciding how to leave.
Keep control of the next step
In your M&A Digital Garage, available inspection findings and estimates appear with your verified repair record. Read each estimate line and contact the advisor about anything unclear before approving. Ask the team for supporting photos or video where available.
Save the itemized estimate and the explanation you received. A learning guide, inspection color or chat response is not your authorization for additional repairs.

General driver education. Your vehicle’s instructions, current state requirements and the technician’s findings determine the next step. A guide cannot diagnose your car or confirm it is safe to drive.
