Define a useful inquiry
Choose the actions that matter to your business: an accepted inquiry form, a confirmed booking, or an actual customer phone conversation. A click on a phone link shows intent; it does not confirm that a call connected. Ask your website implementer to record a form-success event after the application confirms acceptance, rather than on every submit-button click. In Google Analytics, mark the relevant inquiry event as a key event.
Read Search Console separately
Use Google Search Console to understand search visibility. Impressions indicate appearances in results, and clicks count interactions that take people from Google to your site. Neither proves that you received a lead. Review which pages and searches attract useful visits, then compare that trend with your inquiry records. Use consistent date ranges and note website changes. Treat a small number of inquiries cautiously; a few extra clicks do not establish a reliable business trend.

Respect consent and minimize data
Explain measurement in your privacy information and honor visitors' choices. Ask your implementer to connect consent controls to tag behavior and test both acceptance and rejection. Never send submitted names, email addresses, phone numbers, or message contents to Analytics, including through URLs or event fields. A neutral event name and form identifier can describe the action. Check access and retention settings, and keep customer follow-up details in the business system that needs them.
