Start with the right specification

Read the tire size from the vehicle placard and share the year, make, model and trim. A previous owner may have changed the installed tire size, so the tire sidewall alone is not always the correct specification. Load index, speed rating and the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements matter alongside diameter and width. Tell the advisor about any wheel changes before ordering.

Compare tire options for actual use

Ask about tire options appropriate for your vehicle and driving conditions. Daily commuting, delivery work and higher-mileage fleet use can place different demands on tires. Discuss wet-weather performance, tread life priorities and budget without assuming that the most expensive model is the right fit. The team confirms the exact model, compatible sizes and stock before you commit. A product family name does not guarantee every size is available.

Separate tires from the installation scope

A useful written estimate identifies the tire model and quantity, mounting, balancing, valve or sensor work, disposal, taxes and any separately recommended alignment. Ask which items are included and which depend on inspection. Existing sensor damage, wheel condition or seized hardware may change the proposed work. Review any warranty terms for the actual tire and keep the invoice and maintenance records.

Alignment and balancing solve different problems

Alignment adjusts wheel geometry within the vehicle’s specifications. Balancing addresses uneven weight around the wheel and tire assembly. A vibration does not automatically mean alignment is needed, and pulling can also involve tire condition, brakes or suspension. Describe whether the concern follows speed, braking, acceleration or road shape. Diagnosis helps avoid buying a service that does not address the cause.

Wear patterns deserve an explanation

Uneven tread wear can be associated with pressure, alignment or worn components, but one pattern is not a complete diagnosis. Ask the technician to show the measurements and inspect related steering and suspension parts. Worn or damaged components may need attention before alignment can be set and maintained. Request the alignment results and ask what was corrected and what remains outside specification.

Plan the visit and ongoing care

The wheel-alignment planning range is $125–$160 for a sedan and $145–$185 for an SUV or crossover under the site’s current estimator. Tire prices depend on the selected model and size and require a separate quote. Confirm equipment and availability at your chosen M&A location. After installation, use the manufacturer’s cold pressure specification and discuss rotation and follow-up care for your vehicle. Fleet tire inquiries can be directed through our service team.
