A few useful answers.
Do I need an inspection before selling?
Maryland generally requires a safety inspection for used-vehicle transfers; exceptions apply. The seller usually obtains the certificate. Check the MVA requirements for your transaction.
How long is the certificate valid?
An ordinary Maryland safety inspection certificate is valid for 90 days. Dealer inventory has separate rules. Plan your inspection around the sale.
Can my buyer book with M&A?
Yes. Give the buyer our contact details. They can book their own service visit. Your private repair record stays private.
