Rotors should be evaluated for thickness, condition, heat damage, scoring and variation rather than replaced or reused by appearance alone.

Pedal pulsation or steering-wheel shake can involve rotor variation but tires, wheels, hubs and suspension can also contribute.

Ask for the complete repair scope
A brake quote should make clear whether pads, rotors, hardware, fluid service or additional repairs are included and whether the recommendation applies to one axle or more.
